The Foodbank of Southern California is committed to fighting hunger, one meal at a time in our local communities. They have been providing food to impoverished children, families, and seniors residing in Los Angeles County since 1975 with a focus on neighborhoods in downtown Los Angeles, Compton, San Pedro, South Central, Watts, and North Long Beach. |

Homeboy Industries is the largest gang rehabilitation and re-entry program in the world. For over 30 years, they have stood as a beacon of hope in Los Angeles to provide training and support to formerly gang-involved and previously incarcerated men and women, allowing them to redirect their lives and become contributing members of our community. NDN Collective is a Indigenous-led organization dedicated to building Indigenous power. Through organizing, activism, philanthropy, grant-making, capacity-building and narrative change, they are creating sustainable solutions on Indigenous terms.

In Lak'ech Denver Arts (CNDC) is an after-school arts program providing 5th-8th grade students is SW Denver with a high-quality community responsive arts education. We envision a world where the arts are used as a tool to cultivate communities in which people view one another as extensions of themselves, so that we can all honor our collective humanity.
Students build their skills in drama, dance, music, and the visual arts while inspiring themselves and others to become social advocates in their communities and beyond. For more info check out their IG here. |
