Inspired by the Mexica/Aztec direction of the East. This black-and-red knit design honors Tlahuizlampa.
The front of the cardigan features Tonatiuh. Below, young corn grow from chinampas (floating ground), representing Spring, growth and sustenance. The sleeves also carry Tonatiuh, this time surrounded by the traditional Ollin design containing the four previous suns. On the back, Xipe Totec appears in ceremonial form, accompanied by young personified plants sprouting from the earth.
